I purchased Limewire Pro and at the time there was no mention of any looming expiry date. I received an email about 6 months ago telling me my Limewire Pro was expiring and I could download again for free. Recently, I received another email telling me my Limewire Pro has expired for good. I have to download again and PAY. I know many people using Limewire that have never paid and theirs has never stopped working. Really disappointed I was misled.....

LW Pro has never has an unexpiring support. Up until about 2 years ago they only offered 6 months support. Since then they've also offered an extended 12 months or one off options. Never told you? It has always been listed on the Pro page that support is for a limited time.

Your current Pro version will keep on working - all that expires is the ability to download newer Pro versions as they're released & the ability to access email support.

Providing that you save Pro installers that you've downloaded, you can use those versions for as long as you like

If you do not wish to continue with Pro support, might I suggest you download these versions: LW 4.18.8 and the beta 5.2.6 & keep these installers safe

LW 5.2.6 has some nice improvements.
