![]() Hello Everyone Im having a problem viewing what I have downloaded, it happens that when I click to view, windows media center comes on and does not play, sorry did not tell you Ive got Vista,Im trying to uninstall to no avail, can someone put me on the right track, thanks in anticipation. ![]() Cheers dougal950 |

![]() I have XP Media Center Edition, and I don't use any of its media functionalities....rather I choose to simply use WMP for playing media files...others skip WMP all together and use VLC..I install the Klite codec pac for WMP, VLC comes with most all needed codecs....

![]() Hi, thanks for reply, having Vista which is part of the system, it is not possible to delete Media Player, although you can put it on back burner, but it keeps coming on, Ive downloaded Real player and made it default but still no luck, thanks for your help bye |

![]() try right clicking on a file and choosing open with, then choose your desired media player and check the always box... I don't use Vista, but I know a person who does and I just burned some stuff for him and we played it on his machine to verify it and he has winamp as a default media player and that is what came up....
