Default Limewire Pro

Hi All!

I am between a rock and a hard place....can't remember my original email address so I am prevented from re-loading limewire pro. I already paid for it, changed my computer and email addresses several times, so I don't have another doorway back into my download?

I think the initial purchase of pro was when I was using XP Home. I can give a list of what the address might have been, but that could be hit or miss. Doesn't limewire pro keep records???

How long ago did you buy Pro & how much did you pay?

Providing that you downloaded from the official site Official Website & Free Download - Lime Wire, paid LimeWireLLC & your Pro benefits are still current you should be able to download Pro. Try all email addresses that you've used over the past year

Email addresses stay in LW's database while the user's Pro benefits are current.

If your Pro benefits have expired, or if you paid a scam site for Pro then you won't be able to download a new version of from the official site.

Default forgotten email address for limewire pro

Thank you for the reply. I bought limewire pro about 8-10 years ago. If it was just a matter of the last year's email addresses, it'd be a cinch. I did pay for the lifetime membership, but don't recall how much it costs and any amount I quote would be a guess. Isn't there a number to call them and work this thing out? Couldn't they just go by the old billing address? I'm sure of the card type I used to pay for it, and I'm also sure that card number has changed a few times also, for security.

Sorry to say, but it sounds like you were scammed when you originally bought Pro.

Prior to August 2007 Pro cost $18.88 & included free email support & updates for 6 months. So back then, you would've been able to update Pro for free up to 6 months after purchase.

The official site now offers Pro (free email support & updates for 6 months) or Extended Pro (free email support & updates for 12 months).

LimeWireLLC has never offered a 'lifetime membership'. Unfortunately, scammers do offer this kind of thing.
