Have an annoying problem with upgrading my LimeWire Pro... Windows Vista - Lime Wire 5.3.6 – Wi-Fi from a cable I do not know how to resolve this issue but it is getting annoying. I bought the life time LimeWire pro deal about three months ago. And recently I have been getting messages to update my LimeWire, however when I go to upgrade it asks for my email and none of the three emails I have seem to work. I don’t know if I put it in wrong when I signed up, or if there is a database error of some kind but I can’t do anything with my LimeWire now as far as upgrading it. |

Check your original payment record (CC receipt, etc.), see which company you paid for the so-called lifetime Pro. |

I have limewire pro right now, and all I care about at the moment is how to get it updated when the e-mail I put in when requested is not working. I will deal with w/e else some other time. Getting my limewire updated is what I need help with, nothing more. |

you entirely miss the point.. there is no lifetime subscription to LW...this means if you bought one, you were scammed and bought it from a scam site (i.e. NOT Official Website & Free Download - Lime Wire) and there is no way you can update your version without actually paying for a real version which will come with either 6 months of updates or a year of updates.... you see, if you pay thieves for something you can't expect the real owners to supply anything now can you?

You know Peerless, How many times have we seen scammed novices look for support from the Limewire.Org, they just don't get it that they are not entitled to anything. Poor arrogant and gullible FofF is not the first and he will definitely not be the last. UK Bob |

For God's sake I am running lime wire pro, I have a subscription for it. I should have never told you what kind I had. I checked the damn bank statement and it all checks out so break you damn typing fingers if you are reading this and plan on typing anything in reply that has nothing to do with helping me. |

DID YOU OR DID YOU NOT PURCHASE YOUR LW PRO FROM Official Website & Free Download - Lime Wire ? YES OR FRAKKING NO..SIMPLE QUESTION, AND I EXPECT A SIMPLE ANSWER PRETTY DAMNED QUICKLY otherwise you can consider the line in the sand as having been crossed and war will be declared ??? why should you have never mentioned that? it shows us, since LimeWire Inc. does NOT offer a lifetime subscription, that you were scammed...so you got charged for it...you're point????? you paid thieves apparently, not the real LimeWire and therefor you can expect no updates, as you gave your money away to thieves not the real owners of the software...do you frakking get it, or do I need to pull out a 25 oz. framing hammer and beat it into your skull?

Unfortunately Guys FofF still doesn't get it, yes he has got a subscription but it's bogus. So, he has a bogus copy of LW from a bogus (scamming) company and he paid for a non-existent "Lifetime membership", those bogus shares in this bogus company must be going up. Seriously FofF, you should be checking your payment details to make sure that the bogus company is not collecting a monthly payment fee for their non-existent "Lifetime membership", then get your details changed so that they cannot charge you again or sell your details onto other criminals. It may be too late but you should also be trying to get your money back by telling your CC provider (or bank) that you have been scammed by a bogus Internet company. Now FofF, you have all the advice you need to rescue the situation. UK Bob |

If you guys were polite about it in the first place maybe I wouldn't have been so annoyed. Don't say that some of you weren't being assholes when I was just asking for help, because you were. Thank you for the help though. |
