Default sleep mode ? why..when idle ..im dropping to excellent connection

when a few minutes pass when i dont move the mouse ....my limewire pro goes from turbo connection to excellent connection ...till i move the mouse ...this surves as a problem ...seeings how i dont want to watch it download a 2 hour file lol ...any tips ..is there a setting ???? please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is a function that's been built in for several years. The reason the ultrapeer is dropped is because LW does not need it if there are no searches happening. Thus that ultrapeer can then be used to help someone else connect to the network. The dropping of the ultrapeer should not affect download speeds.

that is a big help !!!! thanks so much !!! i totally understand that ...especially when the settings are not changeable ....using torrents and utorrent ...theres just to many ppl out there downloading 10 files at the same time not allowing uploads ....so im glad limewire came up with the torrent downloader also ...anyway ...thanks again !!!!!!

Limewire is a poor torrent client. It is banned from some torrent sites for not complying with protocols. You would be much better off using Vuze or uTorrent (both are free).

Yeah ...i use utorrent and im on ilovetorrents.com and bitsoup ....its just fun to play with from time to time
