Default Flaws in each track downloaded?

Hi
I had deleted Limewire some time ago after noticing that within each track I was downloading there was at leas a half dozen blips or flaws in every track.
There could have easily been more but slipped by me?
Does anyone else notice this or if you do, it doesn't bother you as it is free anyway. It is fairly subtle and appears to happen on a beat and freezes for a split second and occurs at fairly regular intervals throughout tracks.
Just wondering whether others have noticed and your thoughts on this?
Cheers

Are you using LW's media player for these checks? If yes, double-check by playing them with other audio players on your computer. WMP, VLC, etc. try a few.

Are they all belonging to one album of one artist or others also? If one album, it might be related to ripping problems by the original uploader.

Hi
Thanks for your reply.
It was perhaps over a year ago and not sure which player was used at the time. The flaws occurred in every track I downloaded from a number of albums. When I was looking for them they were there and when I wasn't I still noticed them when listening to them so it appeared to be in every track but may not have been?
I deleted limewire partly due to this, and also because I found it difficult to delete tracks in the iTunes library. This was most likely due to being a noob but found it frustrating once downloading tracks to see if I wanted them and not being able to delete 95% which were just accumulating. I read on this forum after joining the other day that we are able to delete unwanted tracks so this should not be a problem in future.
When trying to delete limewire, I could not get rid of it completely out of my computer, which makes me wary of software that hangs around when you try to delete it leaves traces in your computer.
I guess I'm after info at this stage as I don't have the whole package available on my iMac to experiment with atm.
Cheers

The only traces of LW to be left on your mac should be a LW install file in the OSX -> Library -> Receipts folder. And the preferences folder in user account -> Library/Preferences/LimeWire. And of course the program itself, download folder & incomplete folder.
