Just downloaded Limewire Pro this week, and after a few days of use, decided that I much prefer the search interface from the free version.

I don't like the whole left side of the window taken up with a search input area, and having to click an arrow to make it go away and get the full window width for the results list. And then to click the arrow again to do another search.

In the free version, there was one box to enter text, and a pulldown for audio,video, etc. It didn't interfere with the results window.

Just in case I'm missing a preference, is there any way I can keep Pro but just have single box and pulldown from the free version?

What you are seeing is the new look that they gave it in 2.3.
I would think you could get the last version having the other search interface if you just ask them for it. I don't like the idea either. I hope they make an option to have it either way. I think the last version to have the other search thing is 2.2.4, but I never got that one, so I can't be sure. I do know that it was the same up to 2.1.3 at least.
