Does anyone know how to stop Bearshare from changing my homepage to "Bearshare search"? I keep going under the IE settings to change it to what I want, but Bearshare keeps changing it back!

sounds like you are using a newer version of BS (might as well term it as Bull Sh!t)...

uninstall it, perhaps run a malware scanner like Adaware SE, then install the one talked about in this thread: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/open-d...sabotaged.html

I vaguely recall reading someone else complaining about same thing. As Peerless suggested, I believe it's due to the Bearshare 6+ versions which are not the true Bearshare, & don't even let you download much at all anyway.

I can also tell BearShare Lite 5.2.5 has this so called search page bundled in with the installer...If you not uncheck this options before you install, there you go and have a lot of fun after....
