![]() Hi, Background: O/S is Centros 4.3 (Linux) with SElinux feature set to 'warning' Issue: Trying to run LW for 1st time. Install fails when trying to define directory to store shared files. Any and all directories under /home/(myuserid) seem to be inaccessible to LimeWire: an error message is returned "Limewire is unable to use the specified folder for saving files. Please select another folder". World has permission to read the directory tree down to the the selected folder. Limewire seems to be able to create new folders if requested, but still won't use the new folder it just created. This all works fine if I run LW as root. It's only as a non-root user that the problem shows up. ? I'm missing something here, but it's not obvious. Any ideas? |
