HI there i just wanted some inputs about effective anti virus protection..i got blasted by a bug that norton cldnt protect against..some have recommended bit defender..or kasperisky..any suggestions pl..?

What was the bug that Norton AV could not pick up?

Also, what version (year) of Norton AV are you using?

Using Norton 2006 Alacra B & F!!

This is strange because, according to the Symantic web site, Norton knows about Alcra B & F and, if your AV has the latest updates, should be able to take care of these worms.

I know this post does not directly answer your question but it should go someway to understanding what went wrong.
