![]() Hi, I had subscribed to Limewire for lifetime but my hard disc crashed last month and i had to replace my hard disc. As a result i do not have limewire on my machine. Now when i go to limewire's site to download the program, it looks like i have to pay for it again. Is there a way that i can download it for free as i have a lifetime membership? I'll appreciate any help that you can provide with regards to this. Thanks |

![]() Sorry to say you have been scammed. Limewire can only be obtained from www.limewire.com Basic version is free and Pro costs US$18.88 which entitles you to 6 months of updates. There is NO lifetime membership! Your installer for Limewire or any other programme you wish to keep should be saved to Disc or some safe storage device in the event of Crashes. Returning to the Scam problem At the top of many forums are stickies and one of these is on the subject of obtaining p2p clients only from the official site. So you can download the basic version for free, from limewire.com and please be careful about paying for any programme. There are many unscrupulous fraudsters out there. |
