porn is the best thing ever

Can someone help me!!! I am not to familiar with limewire but have a problem with Porn on it. We have cable internet therefore it is left on all the time. The kids have had limewire for a while but we had dial up so the computer was off quite a bit. Now that it is left on we have lots of porn and I was blaming the kids but I have changed the password to the computer and trust me no one hs the password but somehow PORn is still getting on th limewire howi s that possible???!! FRUSTRATED PLEASE HELP

do a virus scan....and get a firewall....

But I guess what I need to know before I continue punishing the kids is, is it at all possible since it is on all the time for it to get on my computer without us downloading it.

The only way PORN can auto-download itself to your PC is under the following cirecumstances:

1) You have got a virus or Trojan that is communicating with the internet and downloading this stuff in the background. However, Virus and Trojan writers are usually after your financial details or making your PC into DDoS bot.

2) You have some sort of utility installed on your PC that can do this. I know that this and other utilities were given away freely on CD disks sold with computer magazines.

3) You have some sort of Adware in-fec-tion, as opposed to a virus or Trojan, that's downloading samples of what is available for sale.

There may be others but I think I have covered the most obvious.
