"Dependency not satisfiable" installing LimeWire 4.18.8 on Ubuntu 8.10 I have just installed Java on my new Ubuntu 8.10 computer, and was about to install the Debian/Ubuntu version of LimeWire on it, when the package manager threw the flag on me, telling me that the LimeWire package had a "Dependency not satisfiable." What's the issue here? Brandon Taylor |
Hello, the limewire package contain already the java, you have only to install the package, during the installation a Y (ES) is required (CLICK ON TERMINAL DURING INSTALLATION) to accept the java license software. Try to uninstall the java you have installed and launch the limewire installation package I think would work Olduser |
Got it; I simply installed Java in the wrong place. |
