activation license key error

HI, all and thanks in advance. Just downloaded limewire.deb. installation was flawless. The problem I'm having is in trying to activate the pro license key. The message "connection error, try again later" always appears when i click on activation. I am running Ubuntu 10.4 and limewire itself is able to connect but not the activation process, anyone else come across this, am i missing something. Have searched all the forums and unable to find an answer.

I'd suggest keep trying. Also, is there any possible security software that might block your LW messages sent to the LW site?

In the Tools -> Advanced menu does it say anything about firewall?

If necessary, send an email to Pro support about the issue, they might have an idea how to work around the issue; LW Pro support

I have heard of one other occurrence of this issue before with someone else.
