![]() For the one who does not know how, here it is: Here is how you get qtella to work on mandrake 8.2 download the tar file, extract in you home dir by right click "extract here" then go into root cd to qtella directory.(example cd /home/yourname/qtella-0.5.3) then type ./configure this will take around 15 seconds to complete, then type "make" this will take around 15 min depending on what kind of sys you are running. final type "make install" this will take around 30 seconds after you are don with this qtella will be ready to run. go to run in the start menu type qtella and presto! the program will run fine, but beware if you exit or disconnect after your first start, the program will most likely crash. to solve this reboot and start the program again. it seems to only want to work off of the first start. here is some advice in the configure tab, -ignore all firewall host -ignore busy people the two above will help you get only green bar download hosts with the exception of the reboot problem this is the best gnutella i have tried |
