Are you blind or something? You have icons to click on to open the appropriate sub-windows. It can't be that difficult, can it? Just don't forget to maximize those sub-windows, or wou'll end up resizing them endlessly...

Default Are you stupid or something?

These folk may be having the same problem I'm having which is, having compiled 0.6.2 from source, it runs great, but there are NO icons! It's very possible that these people have never seen a running Qtella window, as I have, and don't know that there are supposed to be icons. Think before you post; you'll look smarter.

Having gotten that off my chest, does anyone have any idea why the icons don't appear? Where should the pics folder have ended up (it ended up nowhere).

Thanks in advance for any serious, well-thought-out answers.

Well then you might want to put them there where Qtella expects them, which is where you told Qtella during configure where you're going to install them.

Oh and they show up in the menu bar.

Default Same problem here, fixed

After building qtella 0.6.2 i initially had the same problem, items were not visible in the menu.
At least for me this was a bad entry for PIXMAPDIR in the src/Makefile. Mine had a leading NONE instead of /usr/local.

Just thought I'd add, the icons are there, but some people can't see them. You will notice if you move your cursor to the right of the 'Help' menu, buttons will highlight that are about 1mm
wide. You can still click on them, you just can't see their captions. My guess is mmarxmeier solution will work but if you don't mind not seeing the captions you can still use it.
