Is the program now blocked by other gnutella clients? Certainly does look like development stopped upon it. The program files are able to be downloaded from SourceForge site Qtella - P2P Gnutella Linux/Unix File Sharing Client . / or . I don't think other Gnutella program block out Qtella! But i know Qtella has some connection issue, or it is too old...If i don't remember it wrong it use some sort of Host file, and i do not know it is up to date so to speak! I can connect all the Gnutella program i use easy, but i was not sucessfull to make Qtella connect at all.... It would be great to have a working Host file for Qtella users, if some still use it! I only see on Gnutella network gtk Gnutella which is similar to Qtella!I think Qtella users have mostly moved on to gtk Gnutella for Linux/Unix OS these day's... |
if the last release was in 2004, Qutella might be still using the plain 0.4 standard, which would evidently make it very hard to connect for the application... |
I think it's use plain 0.4 standard or even older...I have no connection problem with older Gnutella clients, but this one won't connect no matter what i do to make it connect to Gnutella network. So it's a wast to even try to use it, thats for sure! |
BTW, where does the name of this application come from? Has it been written using the Qt environment? |
