Can only run as root.

First let me say thanks for the work, Its great to live without windows

I have had a problem with qtella crashing. I have had the problem with 3.0 and higher. But if I run as root its fine. I know this is not very safe but it is the only why I can get to to run for more than 20 secs.

My system is PIII running mandrake 8.0. I have not upgraded anything sence I loaded it. Any help would be great.
