it's a way of giving thanks to the ppl that helped create the software. If they add a debits menu though, look out.

Credits is just credits as to people that helped make the software. Of course it will remain free.

Notice the little window for an ad in xolox, That's how you pay =p

Ads = Money.

XoloX has made it clear that it will not include any Spyware, Sneakware , or any hidden programs. Not force you to install things you don't choose to and will *remain* free. This point has been hammered pretty good but none-thel-ess always a concern of users and rightfully so with the track records of other p2p clients.

Supporting a program through ads is nothing new and as long as its not too annoying or intrusive , then I think people can remain happy with a client that offers so much and aims to continue to do so.
