![]() I joined this P2P thingy for reasons of 2 fold: Being slightly impoverished, I want to sample music and determine what to buy and mostly, what NOT TOO! Also, I have some music that will surely be lost because the CD's are no longer produced and the band has dismembered (truly SUCKS). I would be honored if I could facilitate this music into a timeless nature such as a P2P. Unfortunately, my connection is terribly slow (read: "cheap") however I leave the connection up for extended periods. Interestingly, I have 'searched' for the band and expected my OWN listing to show up but it never does. I don't even really know what that means (is it accessible to everyone or not?). If you dare, try downloading the >>>>>"BELIEVERS"<<<<< - A sort of 'bluesy Rock & Roll' band. PS: I studied this for a while and never determined a good place to post a point of interest for uploading (?). |

![]() Xolox, like most programs, tries to prevent small loops in the network. Because of this, you cannot see yourself. It is not really important to see your own file listings, and it helps reduce useless network traffic (searching yourself, or same search coming through multiple times) |
