 techie question Pasman, Moak,Seeker Ok guys heres a good one when I am connected to xolox and no uploading or downloading , just searching, why do I have 4 people connected to me when I do a netstat ? they are accessing various ports not always the same ones ? Is my firewall at risk ? help ! or is this yet another 'Feature ' of Xolox PS when is 1.13 out ? |

 You ARE aware that, for you to be able to search, any gnutella client has to be connected to at least one other gnutella client that could receive the search? So these four people are probably nothing else but other gnutella users - that's just how gnutella works. I guess I speak for everyone when I say "Duh!". |
