Default Deleting past searches

Everytime i type in a letter in the search bar a whole phrase comes up from a past search...is there anyway to delete the searches in the search bar?? Help!!

Are you using Bearshare? The reason I'm asking is b/c some people accidentally post their LimeWire questions in this section. And that's despite the big sticky at the top of the section in CAPITOLS which says LW users are NOT to post here. Sorry if you are a legitimate BS user.

Default If you are a BS user

At the top click Setup->Searching In the box to the left unclick the first one which saying "Enable Auto Complete in search string. . . "
