Rumors

Who is behind Shareaza?
Looks like they are settled down in Australia. Maybe connected with a company called CreativityCorp?

Australian? Another reason for me to block it.

Did you test this client? I think not... I think we should block you...

No, I did not test it, I didn't test Xolox either, yet I'm blocking it, - just because I don't want the type of people who use Xolox (Gnucleus, Morpheus, GTK-Gnutella,...) to download from me (of course I blocked them one way only, so my download-experience remained optimal).

Being xenophobic is completely legitimate on the internet, all I do is making use of my basic freedoms.

You are a cheap copy of a leecher...

you call it freedom if you block others but download from them?

I think its better you shut up here...

Well I'm not exactly blocking them, I'm just not answering their search queries...

Morgwen June 22nd, 2002 12:25 PM

You know that is the same... how they should know what to download from you if you donīt respond?

This is leeching... and this sucks...

Blocking non-LW clients

Hey, Taliban. Can you post the details of the file and lines in the LimeWire source you changed to make your client not respond to certain clients? I tried patching StandardMessageRouter one time, but it didn't seem to work.
