Feature request First off, thanks for an excellent Gnutella client. Being able to download partials and wait for the rest to come up later is a great help in the community of hard-to-find music that I'm part of. However, I've found that as a leaf, I'm connecting to WAAAAY too many Morpheus ultrapeers. It seems to me that every [EDIT] Morpheus client on the network is an ultrapeer. (An earlier thread on this explains a lot.) Thus, my connection list: Hosts ... Client 267 ... Acquisition 265 ... LimeWire 165 ... LimeWire 82 ... LimeWire 68 ... LimeWire 10 ... Morpheus 5 ... Morpheus 3 ... Morpheus 2 ... Morpheus 1 ... Morpheus (ULTRAPEER, MY ****!) Not to discriminate against anyone's client or anything, but this is awfully stupid. And what's worse, I have to cancel all these leechbunnies by hand. Could you implement one of these features in the next release: A) Blocking certain clients as neighbours or B) Blocking clients who don't have a certain number of hosts after a certain time I, for one, would appreciate it. :) Oh, and make it open-source too! ;) |

However Mike, It would be cool if you publish the code if you plan to discontinue it. ;) |
