Files will not download

Hi, im trying to setup and download files using the shareaza client.

I currently have the app set to connect using port 6346 (standard gnutella) and have unchecked the random option. I opened the following in my router's firewall (my windows firewall is disabled):

Policy Dir Souce_IP Source_Port Dest_IP Dest_Port Protocol
permit L->W * * * 6346 TCP
permit L->W * 6346 * * TCP
permit L->W * * * 6346 UDP
permit L->W * 6346 * * UDP
permit W->L * * * 6346 TCP
permit W->L * 6346 * * TCP
permit W->L * * * 6346 UDP
permit W->L * 6346 * * UDP

I can succesfully connect to the gnutella network and search for files (though I suspect I am not getting lists of all files there are).

But whenever I try to d/l, all my downloads go into the 'pending' stage.

Whenever I use the shareaza connection test (http://home.no.net/tgrumpy/ct/dex.php)
I get the following:
TCP: The TCP connection has been refused, the port is closed. Either a firewall or a router has not been configured on this port, or no application is currently using it. Make sure your firewall or router is properly configured to not block or forward this port and that Shareaza is running and configured to use this port.
UDP: No answer has been received from your client. This can have various reasons, like that your firewall or router isn't properly configured for Shareaza, or Shareaza is not running on this port, or not connecting to the networks.

I am completely lost. Am I doing anything wrong??? Help would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

I'm having the exact same problem, i'm connecting to the Gnutella one and two network and retrieving files fast. Yet, the amount of sources look rather suspicious, ie the amount of users of a certain file, for instance I've seen that a particular song has far fewer hosts sharing it, unlike other Gnutella networks (Bearshare ect ect) and, of course, the 'pending' issue, that seems to just stay like that. i'd stick with Bearshare, but i'm rather curious of the Gnutella2 network and curious of what it can offer.
