Red face HELP!! I have lots of incomplete limewire files

9.81 GB!!! shareaza is racing along after running 3 days...I love it! I download large files and have lots of time invested in limewire's incomplete folder. drive space is getting scarce. shuting down shareaza to finish limewire is not a good option and I cant find a plugin to import these files. Please someone tell me of a workaround before I have to lose 3 weeks work!!!

a question like that (especially phrased in such a manner) should really be asked at the Shareaza forums...yur hosed as far as I'm concerned...unless you loose your 'tude and use LW to complete them...

limewire was my introduction to P2P and tool of choice for 2yrs and I have nothing bad to say about it. I am NOW enthralled by shareaza's features. Hardware limitations and "needs of the moment" have me desperate... no attitude intended...
and I was getting registered on that other forum when u replied.
I'm sorry I stepped on ur toes. only now becoming aware of some controversy regarding shareaza on the gnutella network... most of which is over my head. from a purely "dumb user" standpoint shareaza has a lot going 4 it, at first anyway... maybe the "gloss" will wear off with time??

after shareaza has been on all 3 networks awhile I get great search results. the long waits from edonkey sources is a pain so I avoid them 4 small files... note above that i download a LOT of big files and that it took 3 days 4 download speeds 2 "rock and roll" while consuming less of my meager hardware resources than limewire's java based platform.
This discussion is moot now anyway... I have my old limewire up and running again with all but the biggest most complete dls killed. even so it will cost me a week of running the same searches over and over and over because LW lost my sources... sorry again I really don't want 2 flame LW, its great! (when u don't have sumtin' better)

years ago I had shareeza, but stopped using it because it seemed to have many choices of the same files, mostly current popular content, and my tastes run differently. And yes, Limewire is great.
