Shareaza not downloading

Hi,

I'm sure this has been discussed before. But I just downloaded Shareaza and can pull up all kinds of files but when I click to download it just sits there and never downloads. I have WinXP with Norton Security. Please help. Thanks.

Just open the ports for Shareaza, in default, are the same as LimeWire, 6346 for UDP, and 6346 for TCP, isn't that cool,you don't have to compromise ur security so much, by opening a large amount of ports, you got to open only one!!!

I had a similar problem with limewire. I tried all the fixes but nothing worked, so i switched to shareaza, and i can download just fine. too bad there aren't as many files available. My bearshare no longer has movies, and my bearflix won't find sources either. Any clues as to why there are so many recent problems with p2p software. I use charter, so I know that I still have a raw connection.

Shareasa is Awesom for finding files I can't find anywhere else...I just wish it had the speed i get off limewire

I bet you that Shareaza Gnutella has collapsed and you do not know it. Only Edonkey network works since 6 months ago!!!!!!!
Someone using Gnutella 1/2 on Shareaza this year pls reply.

I am using G1 and G2, plus E-Donkey, with version 2.2.10, 2.2.50 sucks, it always get Low Id

Clarification - Edonkey in conjunction with Gnutella 1 or 2 never used to work well at all but by themselves each used to work excellently. Gnutella 1 and 2 are singularly failing to connect these days.
Has Gnutella collapsed anybody? I'm keen to find out but no one I know uses Shareaza. Is this a sign?
