as limewire downloads a movie from the begining so its easy to preview and check if its genuine but shareaza starts it from in between and that makes it impossible to preview , so is there a way to preview or to configue shareaza to download files from begining like limewire please help

Hi i hav been using shareaza for a long time and it only depends what kind of move format ur trying to download E.g. MPEG movies u can preview from in the middle or near the end it doesnt hav to be at the beginning.

You are so very wrong man. LimeWire will lie to you man. It shows you a progress bar like a loading bar, percentage based. Shareaza's default progress bar shows you exactly what parts of the file you have downloaded. If limewire downloads the last 25% of a file, it will still show the bar as the first 25%.

If you want shareaza's bar to look like limewire's then go to the settings and check the option to use the simple progress bar.

About the preview problem, well that depends on the download, sometimes you may get the first part of a file, sometimes you might get the middle. Sometimes you can preview with the first small bits of the file and sometimes it may not work from start to finish. You just have to be lucky
