still no luck but getting closer

I have found the options button that allows me to change the setting from "saving in my music" to saving in " limewire shared" ect... but as I leave it changes back to my music.

sounds like maybe your Options window is too small so you're not seeing the Apply button, and you're just exiting the Options window without saving your changes.

Click Tools/Options and as soon as that Options window appears, grab the lower right-hand corner and drag the window size larger until you see the OK, CANCEL, and APPLY buttons.

Then make your changes, then click Apply, then exit and it should remember them.
