Can't Download AVI Files

I have used Limewire for a long time and have never had a problem until now. I have always downloaded music files in the past. I am now trying to dowload avi files. Whenever I click to download the file, it starts out by saying "connecting" then after a few minutes it goes to "need more sources". This happen on any avi file that I try. And I have been trying for a couple of weeks now. A co-worker of mine is having the very same problem. We have to be doing something wrong, we have to be missing something. Any suggestions? Thanks!!

They sound like the fake files being spammed on the network. If you get a total of results in the thousands then yes, they are fake. With say 100 for one on the list, 99 or the next file, 98 ... etc. And it is also an attribute for them to take a long time to "pretend" to try to connect. The best answer is to use Bitzi to see if they are real files or not. See How to use Bitzi Web Lookup
