You are suposto MOVE those silly little GIFs from the server where you found it to YOUR OWN SERVER.
These people were nice enough to provide you with a free graphic, you are NOT suposto use all their bandwidth.

I don't know about other people but I find these pretty butterflies and other silly graphics in messages annoying and space wasting.

This is exatly what I have done... I have uploaded it to the gnutellaforums server, what CycloCide allows, so where is your problem?

Next time before you write such crap and accuse somebody ask first and complain than about it.

About this annoucement, I copied it from ursula`s post - I changed nothing and I am not going to do it... ursula posted this and made it sticky... I moved it only there - I never used GIF in a post or I am going to use it...

This is one of the advantages of becoming a regsistered user at GnutellaForums.com. This will allow you to disable the display of any images or attachments in posts (so they won't take up any of your bandwidth).

For those already registered, click "User CP" at the top, select "Edit Options" and set "Show image attachments and [img] code in Posts?" to "No".

I do not know exactly what you mean when you refer to, "Look professional", but I do know that it is important to remind you that the vast majority of people using this board do not have any problems with thinking of themselves as professional.
They are here for fun---- Yes, many are here for assistance, but it is to help them do something which is for fun. Only fun.

Considering the many problems that people are having with the newer editions of the popular clients and the enormous problems that exist regarding incorrectly configured machines out there, I would hope you would devote your time on these boards to helping others with the REAL problems.

And--- wait for it, here it comes--- if you are going to assist others with their problems, which would certainly be a 'professional attitude' to display here, you will really need to register so that those you help will be able to thank you
