idea to speed up limewire
 

PLease disable the feature that limits speed on upoading songs. Think about it, everyone uses a low setting so even if you connect to a cable or dsl user your limited on how fast you can download. Take an extreme condition where every user has DSL for example and sets the limit on 4.0 kbps then noone can download any faster than that speed.

I dont think that's a good idea.
 

I have no limit on my client but many people downloads below 2KB/s And I only permit 2 simultaneous connections, so people theoricaly could download over 4KB/s when I am without downloading. Maybe to put in very fast servers the client info when it starts the connection would be a little patch, searchs have much weight.
