Is it possiple to filter out porn?

I have a teen and a preteen who love to download music and video clips but I am having to deny them access to these downloading sites because porn comes up too often. Is there any way to block them out?

Hallo:

In some clients there is a possibility to filter file types and key words. You could specify .mpeg, .avi etc to be filtered. But as this blocks more in general and is easily overridden, I fear this would be no good solution.

Yes. The new verison of BearShare, 2.2.6 has a family filter that works good. http://download.bearshare.com/BS226.exe
