I really dont want to be sued for downloading music. If this is a bs site (first off, shame on Gnutella for advertising it) any suggestions on cheap, legal dowloading sites?

No its not legally. You pay to join them and after this you can download the free version ofLimewire, eMule etc. to download illegal music, you should read the terms. AFAIK there are only sites which asked money per song, about $ 0.99.

The admi of this site can´t overview all ads.

You can get them REALLY cheap offa **** AFAIK, it's totally legal, about 10 cents a song, and you can get 30 second samples.

I edited the links we shouldn´t promote such sites.

Did you read the stuff about it in the forum? I was checking to make sure it's legal...seems perfectly fine to me..

Seems fine to you... ask the RIAA what they think about it. Why should the copyright owner offer his music for $ 0,99 when other can do it much cheaper? The only answer is that they buy the CDs and offer it illegal on the net. I should also mention that this site is from Russia and there isn´t a strict copyright law, perhaps there it is legal but sure not in the other countries.

And as Peerless said legal sites which want promotion have to pay for it.
