Post IP Blocking

There are a few morons out there who see my fine, orderly list and immediately try to D/L all 100 files at the same time. Then they begin restarting every 10 seconds. Consequently, my upload screen begins to look like a slot machine. I know I can block the moron's IP, but is this permanent? Or, just for the active session? Also, how much of drain on my end(e.g., my bandwidth) does this create? If any? Too bad there isn't a semi-chat feature to simply send the idiots a message and tell them to back off and show some consideration for others. Incidentally, when I look for these IPs in the same category as my files are (plugins), guess what?! Nothing there - these are leeches, nothing more, nothing less.

Run a Servant that blocks freeloaders. Limewire is one.

Good Info sources:
http://www.limewire.com/index.htm Check the developers section
A couple of things I have written:

If I may suggest START with Limewire, its easier then switch to FURI, its a better program at this time.

1.) Don't allow more than 4 uploads (or less), not more than 2 per IP

2.) The "morons" are just using a client which tries to connect again and again

3.) The "morons" just look for files, highlight a bunch of them and try to d/l - isn't this what everyone does??

4.) Use a client which doesn't allow freeloaders to connect (like Limewire or Bearshare)
