Chat application Say, Gnutella seems an excellent way to promote file transferr; why not take the same tech and apply it to chat, direct from pc to pc? Well, macs too. ------------------ ************************* Freedom is ever under attack; it must ever be defended. I concur. Maybe even integrate it into one (well, or all) of the Gnutella clones? That way you could ask people for stuff too. I for one have lots of progs/files that I don't share coz they don't all fit zipped on my HD, but it'd be little trouble to share 'em if someone asked me... ------------------ Greetz, Zifnab the Wizzard Email: webmaster@thewizzard.zzn.com Homepage:The Wizzard's Tower |

Why ot use a "simple" IP-Chat? You could include a code which allows you to contact users via their IP-Addresses, mostly those you found by a search. This would enable you to message someone, from whom you recently got interesting data, and thus find new contacts or even friends as soon as you exchanged e-mailadresses or similar. |
