Why are you unable to post? What's the error message?

Cyclo,

i think this problem is in line with the autologout (http://forums.gnutelliums.com/showth...?threadid=5519).
I just cant post using my account. even if I enter name and pw on the top of the page (reply), it is not posted.

Message is: you dont have permission to access this page. Username and PW are requested (although already entered), but no button to sign in is displayed.

Only unregistred as user works.

Cheers
Axel

hang on, i was in a parallel session to check out the message...so why did this posting come through? I didnt enter a user/pw at all??? did it pick the relevant data from the parallel session (which message did not come through...)

strange.
maybe something easy to old session data would be more reliable.....not accepting *ix session when it runs itself on a unix machine:

Apache/1.3.20 (Unix) mod_gzip/1.3.19.1a mod_perl/1.26 PHP/4.0.6 mod_throttle/3.1.2

Cheers

ooooohhh.... good point, that seems to work....at least I'm now longer logged in than ever ;-). if now shows up with my user, the problem might be solved.

what is the reason for the strange behaviour?

The scripts write a cookie for .gnutellaforums.com, so if you're not browsing from within that domain, the scripts won't be able to read it.
