Some more games added to the forums. This will be the last addition I should imagine for a long time.

The Month's winner of the Caption Contest will have access to some extra games over the period they are in the month's caption contest winner position (one month). :)


Anybody suspected of cheating games in the arcade, beware !!! Already some have been caught. You will be banned from these forums in more ways than one. ;) We show zero tolerance for cheaters of games in the arcade !!! The arcade is frequently monitored for cheats!

won't recognize dizzy, fluid, and others....

OUCH ! That's not great. SeeSaw is a very similar game, easier to play however much more limited time. SeeSaw File size is much larger (possibly larger word database) however that may also be related to the game introduction video.

whacky cr@p....include brine in the list of black listed words...and when those words are submitted the tiles go black and can't be seen!

sheesh .. that is stupid. Oh well .. it's not an infallible game obviously. Just have to play around trying to ignore it's downsides I guess.

Game has been replaced with alternate version, same game however. This one should work 'better', however no promises it will recognise certain words, but none of the reported bugs. ;)
A few more games added, mostly word games. Some Pacman variation games added since the original Pacman will eventually be removed at a later time due to copyright reasons once the arcade is updated in the near future.

sigh....and here I spent ages getting the high score on chain letters...oh well, I AM the one who noticed that thing went south with certain legitimate words...

looks like the new version works correctly as it accepted fluid as a word instead of freaking out...

I could have kept the other version, just felt it would be wiser to have just the one which was not buggy or limited in any way. Not easy to inform users which is the wiser one to play. Loss of scores is unfortunately just one of those sacrifices.

the new one plays better and is 'easier' to get a higher score....when I started playing the game at other sites I felt there was a distinct difference, and it appears as if I was correct...good riddance to the old one....

Some (about two dozen new games) will be added to the forum arcade as a type of Christmas present from the forum owner. Perhaps closer to 3 dozen new games. Though one at least will be a replacement for a buggy version we presently have. A few of these games 'might' be restricted to Caption Contest winner & Valued members of the forums. I have a love-hate relationship with Xeno Tactic 2. The objective of the game is to use your defenses to prevent the aliens passing through. However, your defensive units are programmed to give preference to shooting aliens approaching from their left side and will ignore those in front or to their right side and will let those aliens pass through. This defeats the entire objective of the game. An imbecile of a game in that regard. It's highly irritating. Deliberately programmed to do the opposite of your objective. If the aliens could shoot of course they would stab/shoot the defensive units in the back, which makes the game somewhat ridiculous. I've managed to get through all but the first of the 6 levels without any aliens getting through. During a certain period in Level 5, there is not enough gold to earn enough strength to defeat the enemy. You need to just use your skills and wish for luck. lol :D I think level 6, the final level is easier than level 5. The Laser Beam & Sky Beam units are slow and have bad accuracy. I've seen each miss their same target three times in row. One I saw miss 4 times in a row, can't remember which one of them it was. Laser accuracy huh? lol
Xeno Tactic-1 did not behave like Xeno Tactic-2, seems a pity the programmers felt it necessary to change the behavour of the defensive units just to make it harder. Ignoring aliens that are to one side is illogical. It makes the game a touch 'pathetic' & ridiculous.

BTW Flash Chess may need to be reinstalled (custom installed), thus the scores lost. Score setting is incorrect. There's been 'some' complaints about the game also ... so whether it stays is under review. In any case, two other chess games have been installed just in case, Crazy Chess & 3D Chess (latter is a non scoring game).

To my surprise, some games previously uninstallable have been able to be installed (7 games). Perhaps a small site software update allowed this.

For first time in 20 months my ISP has shaped my bandwidth, so inconvenient happening mid-month. For that reason I cannot play/test some games. Oppdrag Asgard may take a while to load for you.

The Gaffer (You play a chubby wharehouse boss who must load boxes onto trucks that pull into the dock. Pesky animals may interfere) - Adventure category

Oppdrag Asgard (Swedish game I think ... a Viking in future) (Move through the map gaining coins and fighting opponents) - Adventure category

Aygo Driving (Take to the streets in the nippy AYGO, but be carefulIt`s an urban jungle out there...) - Racing, Bike or Car Games category

Urban Slug 2 (Mainly the goal of this game is to complete randomly generated contract missions in order to earn money and then upgrade your gear and resources.) - Adventure category

Starcraft 5 (Buy and build defenses against the enemy in this starcraft game) - Military or Flying Games category

Desert Ambush (Kill all the scary villains and most importantly defeat the evil demon at the end of the game.) which I've slotted into the Military or Flying Games category, though could just as easily fit into the Fighting Games category.

Game Arcade software has been updated. As a result, Pacman (which was one of the most popular games) was auto-removed during the arcade update installation process due to Pacman copyright issues. However, I did earlier install 3 other versions of Pacman to keep the Pacman likers happy in preparation for when this would happen. :)

Due to problems, Fratboy Girlfriend Tower Defense game has been removed. A compatible version will be added at a later time. :)

'Zorbatron' . & . 'Mind Me Bloody Beer' are still yet without champions. Anybody wishing the challenge? Both these games are within the Bonus section, that only Image Caption winner of month, mods, VM's & Admins can access to. Will YOU win your way there? Onslaught is a multiple weapon defense game.

Fratboy is a tower defense game to stop the guys coming for your girlfriend, see game for details.

Yahtzee is based on the famous dice game.

Vladimir Key is a game of finding a key to get out of room, roughly similar to Pacman in many ways.

Toxic is a 20-level game of trying to avoid the toxic water/acid & robotic attackers, trying to get from one room to the next. Armed with explosives to blow way through walls.

Railway Line is a game about finding the correct shaped rail track to continue building the rail line up to the end before the train arrives.

There's two sides to every coin. :) If people are stressing, a fun section is good to visit. Be it jokes, arcade, etc. That includes any moderators. lol :D If you do not wish to take part in any of the arcade or joke sections, that's fine. :) These are purely optional extras. ;) :idea:

hello Lord of the Rings! I'm Bella-Rose Halliwell26! I was woundering how do you add games that you want to play?

I install them. :) If you had requests I could look into it if there is a vbulletin arcade version of it. ;)

As for playing the games already here, are you having any issues? You do need a minimum 2 post tally to play the arcade. You already have a 4 post tally at this point, so that's all good. ;)

i really REALLY love games and i can't wait to play. i realize i need 2 posts so i'm hoping this counts as my second one. we will see...YIPEE!!!

Lots of new games added to the arcade (Over 160.) Not all have been tested, categorized and released into the public yet but will be over coming days and weeks. Another large batch will be coming in January.
