Would be nice to have a link (HTML anthor) for each post in a thread: makes for easy referencing.

You can link to a post in a thread by appending the postid to the url. You can find the postid by hovering your mouse over the "quote" button.

For example, the link to this post would be http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...9110#post28488

Thanks, manually appending the anchor with postid will work.

Yet it would be easier to have a permalink, for example next to the 'report this post..' links.

That way, the email I get that "X has replied" can include the permalink of the new post, so you are immediatly at the new post.

I understand that will mean hacking the source code of this forum, but it would increase the usability quite a bit.
