My IP is the Example for the Direct Connect

OK im sorry if im posting this in the wrong section but for the Direct IP connection on LImewire4.6.0 my IP is the example. WHy would you do this LImewire? Did i do something wrong to deserve this?

Yeah you had me worried there for a moment. Yes, your ip will display on your LW when you select DC search type. This is to tell you what your ip is & to allow you to tell your friends this is the address they should be searching for when using DC. And likewise vice-versa when you want to direct connect to them.

The example IP is x'd out your screenshot: I'm guessing it orginally showed yours, so we all get personalized examples

Actually, putting your own IP and port into the Direct Connect search box is a good way to search for your own files.
