Bug: xolox 1.4 and activeX Hello, I just upgraded from Xolox 1.3 to Xolox (1.4 and) 1.4.1 . For a long set of reasons, but mainly for security, we are not permitted to use ActiveX on external web content. In older versions of Xolox <= 1.3x this was no problem. Now with Xolox 1.4, the program insists on starting some ActiveX content. Due to this I can not run Xolox unattended, because I pops up the requester: "Microsoft Internet Explorer" Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page. As a result, the page may not display correctly." Now since I have the application minimized, I am only interested in a proper file sharing, not the content of the (ad) pages. How can I run Xolox 1.4x unattended with security setting as I need them. Can the behavior be fixed as it was on 1.3 or elder? Here a picture of the situation after a few minutes of unattended time with the program running. |
you can add this entry to your HOSTS. file: 127.0.0.1 www.xolox.nl |
matja: Sorry but there is nothing you can really do. iamcheesefries: I don't think matja really deserves that one... |
