Jumping cursor in the search box In build 510 I have noticed the cursor in the "Search for" combo box continually jumps to the beginning of the box when I type in text. I have had to cut-and-paste search strings from Notepad into the search for field to work around this. I do not have the search history feature enabled. Has anyone else noticed this? It didn't happen on any previous relase that I know of. |
I have noticed the same problem when searching. I also have the search history disabled. I am hoping there is a fix soon. |
Disable the "auto-complete" feature in tools > preferences > searching tab. I have passed this glitch along. thank you! |
Thanx - has saved me from typing search strings in reverse (try it!) The fix only seems to work for me if Search History is enabled and auto complete is disabled (even tho there is still a greyed tick in disable auto compete when search history is disabled) :) |
search script reverse typing I have had same problem I have adjusted as you surgest to stop auto complete. prior to this if you reinstall this also fixes problem for a time.:D |
Try this build is for those of you that reported that when you put your mouse over the search query word in the search bar, it would make it invert. It may also have fixed some timer errors. Download1.41 build 516 here please let is know those of you that were having problems, if this fixes it. thanks :) |
Build 516 fixed the jumping cursor error for me. And no timer error messages (so far). Good work! |
