i originally posted this in the general forum, but after reading more, i think it might actually belong here instead...sorry if this is an unnecessary repeat, but please bear with me, i'm still trying to find my way around this forum...
for the past 3 days i have not been able to get xolox to connect..have been getting the same application error message as follows, each time i go to close xolox..."Exception EAccess Violation in module XOLOX EXE at 0004F41F. Access violation at address 0044F41F in module XOLOX EXE. Read of address FFFFFFFF"... we have uninstalled xolox, been to regedit to delete the registry key and then installed xolox 1.41, build 516...any help with solving this would be GREATLY appreciated, but, please be aware, i am a 'puter dumbass, so try not to get too technical on me....

Unfortunantly, there are too many reasons that you are unable to connect for me to give you a simple solution. As for the crashing on close, there is no known way of solving this. This only affects some people and is not that hard to work around.

help please...?
 

can you give me any options to explore as far as the connection issue is concerned or is this a hopeless case at this point?... this has only come about within the past few days...for the most part, xolox was working ok.....because i am getting that error message only on closing xolox, is that also affecting the connection issue?...i'm really at a loss here....thanks ! !

The two problems are probably unrelated. If you could connect before, and this is only a recent change, try undoing something you did sence it stopped working.
