Closing problem I have read about the problem when closing. I see it is stated it is not a problem for all users. Also that it is not that hard to work around. 1) Is it for users with certain OS? 2) How do you figure it is easy to work around? In my case that darn thing give the illegal operation dialog box when I close it down. But you can click close and hit keeps coming back and coming back. It has nothing on the Energizer Bunny. I can't even do Ctrl+Alt+Del to get rid of it. It comes back to fast to let me get to the task manager. I DO NOT want to keep rebooting everytime this happens. For now especially when I am doing other work on computer, I leave the darn dialog message in the corner. Do you have a better fix?? |
Closing Problem I have that same problem. Today is 11/28/03. I downloaded Xolox v1.57 build 768 to my hard drive. When the program opened it worked fine. When I went to close the program, multiple windows opened with an unknown closing error. One of those windows contained the following message: Exception EAccessViolation in module XOLOX.EXE at 0004F417. Access Violation at address 0044F417 in module 'XOLOX.EXE'. Read of address FFFFFFFF. Exception EAccessViolation in module XOLOX.EXE at 0004F417. Access Violation at address 0044F417 in module 'XOLOX.EXE'. Read of address FFFFFFFF. This happens every time Xolox is closed. I am using a computer with the following: Windows ME operating system 1.3 ghz processor speed 40 gb hard drive 256 mb RAM CDROM Drive CDRW Drive Floppy Drive AMD Duron Processor Motorola SB4200 SURFBoard Cable Modem If someone out there has an answer to this problem, please reply to this post. Thank you, |
