1.5 unreliability I'm running a PIII-600 with 512mb, W98SE with all the updates, and the idiot program crashes and crashes. An interesting point: while I've been here checking through the forum, Xolox (1.5 b733) is still running. Any pure search/download attempts on my part results in crashes. I always allow the program to report bugs, but it doesn't always do so. This is not a new problem, as one can see by looking over the various topic headings; what are the Xolox folks doing, anyway? Version 1.41 was rickety, 1.5 simply does not work: I have yet to download any file using 1.5. |
I have also had problems with the download issue using 1.5 and switched back to 1.45 which for the most part runs ok. My system is a PIII 700 with 256mbs of ram and windows 98se. The messages I get all seem to involve timer errors? They have for the most part made a very nice program in the past I hope they can fix this I can update, friends who have faster system that the programs on have complained about memory but other wise no real problems, until they fix though we're otu of luck. |
