10 minutes is not a "long" time of use...

they donīt use the same method!

Did you get an error messages or something else?

I tested Xolox on a w2k system, it runs hours without any problems... I will have a look with w98se! Perhaps you discovered a bug - remember Xolox is still a BETA!

I ran it for a few weeks on end on xp pro..

The older beta's did eventually crash, but the newer ones seem ok. Also, bandwidth does not work the way many of you think..

I'm on cable. I can max out my upstream and downstream is COMPLETELY unaffected. It is the way your isp has it setup and the quality of your equipment. As far as the person who said the speeds on their lan, a 100mbps lan is 10MB/sec, not 680KB/sec
