![]() I [and kaya] both have cable. Most cable services offer a 1mbit+ downstream, although the upstream has some to be desired. T1 lines are 1.5mbits, but have MUCH more bandwidth. So although a download on a t1 wont exceed 150k/s on a single connection, it can sustain many, many connections at 150k/s. T1's range from $50**** to $150**** a month. Cable services range from $35-$70/month [normal home use]. Cable is the ideal choice for the majority of home users. However, if you were to run a server on cable it would well.. Suck. |
