Default 2 Newbie Questions in One

I can download, but it seems I am not uploading. I had a file that was being downloaded continuously when I was using Gnucleus. Any idea why I am not uploading? I am using the factory defaults.

Where does Xolox store partials?

For question one: you list of files are probably just being shared over the network it can take a bit of time for this to happen. And for question two, partials are in here by defualt C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\xolox

Funny, it seems like it's the other way around for me. I upload a lot but I don't seem to download much. Then again, maybe this is due to the fact that most files that are left in my list are hard-to find files (at least that's what I tell myself when I'm tempted to unshare most of my files (70 Gigs). It still annoys me but oh well...

Are you behind a firewall?
Did you choose to show your uploads by checking the option in Tools ?
Lastly, there *IS* a well known upload bug that has the upload meter skewed to the right making it difficult to see. The next update which will be released soon has that obvious bug fixed along with many other fixes and features.

You can *specify* where XoloX stores your temp files in Tools > Preferences > Downloads tab. See the FAQ question about changing it to /program files/xolox/temp.

The next update changes the temp directory to that folder by default ( i believe ).
