Default Question: Deleting registry keys

Hi,

I have a question. When I delete the Registry entry for Xolox, will I lose my download list/unfinished files?
I am asking, because Xolox has started giving me problems (Network settings error message on startup, frequent crashes, error message whenever I close Xolox (=exit the program)), so I feel like it would be best to do a clean reinstall, i.e. delete the registry keys as well, since a simple reinstall does not seem to help. I am just afraid of losing my unfinished downloads (I am e.g. not using the default folders and I saw that the folder directory is specified in the registry).

Thanks !

You will not lose your downloads by removing the registry key, no. But if you are having those problems yes a *clean* install will usually solve it if it worked fine before.

I would wait a day ( or 2) for the new release to be out on CNET and then do a clean install with the new improved and more stable build.

thanks

Kaya,

thanks a lot. I just saw that 1.19 is out - I'll try it right away.
