Support: General General support discussions and announcements. XoloX has been discontinued. We highly recommend you use an actively developed client instead. |

![]() I don't begrudge the software for using the ads to make money and support themselves, BUT... I was Just wondering if Xolox ads are actively being downloded in memory when I have the client minimized. If the answer is no, ignore the rest of this post, but if so, continue... Ad downloading would seem to be a dumb and inefficient use of internet bandwidth (as a whole). My typical usage of the program consists of starting it up, searching for a few items, reviewing the returns and starting them downloading, then minimizing xolox to the system tray to work in the background. At this point, the ads are no longer reaching their intended audience, so why bother using the bandwidth to download them? Just a thought, comments are welcome... jr |
